The challenge
Communicate in Spain the release of the upcoming Reality Show “Granjero Busca Esposa” (Farmer wants a Wife by Freemantel Media, produced by Grundy Productions in Spain. On from January 12th in Canal Cuatro), through unconventional actions in Barcelona and Madrid.
The solution
In Barcelona, two brides with signs went to the Spanish football derby Barça – Real Madrid (on December 13th 2008). The brides walked around the stadium talking to the crowd and creating expectation. One of the brides sat in the first row attracting the attention of the public and the TV cameras.
In Madrid on January 1st of 2009, a farmer with his tractor circulated the whole day around the city looking for his bride. At the same time, a bride was walking in town looking desperately for her farmer. When they finally met, the power of love prevailed in front of the public and present journalists. The bride left the city with her farmer on the tractor with the sign: “It is amazing what we can do for love – Cuatro”.
Results
The ambush action in Barcelona and the guerrilla action in Madrid were shown on Spanish TV, in the press and spread through blogs, linking to the official site www.granjerobuscaesposa.tv. Thousands of fans and passengers took pictures of the action, both in Barcelona and Madrid.
